Category of auditable actions.
Every variant has a producer. That was not true: nineteen of twenty-five
were constructed by nothing — NamespaceDelete, DataExport,
PolicyLoad, ApiKeyCreate and SchemaChange among them — while the
hardening checklist told an operator to “review audit event coverage
(26 built-in action types)”. A category nothing emits is not coverage; it
is a gap wearing the shape of one. audit_action_coverage walks this enum
and requires a construction site outside this crate for each.
Variants§
Write
Data write.
Read
Data read / query.
Delete
Data deletion.
SchemaChange
Schema change — a column declared, a measurement dropped or restored.
DataExport
Data exported out of the database.
LoginFailure
Failed authentication attempt.
There is deliberately no LoginSuccess: a database authenticates
every request, so recording the successes would make the trail a
second request log and bury the events it exists for.
Admin
Administrative operation — backup, restore, a runtime setting.
ApiKeyCreate
API key created.
ApiKeyRevoke
API key revoked.
PolicyLoad
Cedar policy set loaded.
NamespaceCreate
Namespace created.
NamespaceDelete
Namespace deleted.
QuotaChange
Namespace quota changed.
CreateRollup
Rollup rule created.
DropRollup
Rollup rule dropped.
TriggerCreate
Trigger created.
TriggerDrop
Trigger dropped.
SignalFired
Signal fired.
Custom(String)
Anything an embedded consumer wants to record that is not above.
