pub struct SignalSender { /* private fields */ }Expand description
A channel-based signal delivery layer.
Composite signals are sent through this bounded channel to downstream consumers (alerting, logging, webhook triggers, etc.). The channel applies back-pressure when full, preventing unbounded memory growth.
Implementations§
Source§impl SignalSender
impl SignalSender
Sourcepub fn send(
&self,
signal: CompositeSignal,
) -> Result<(), SendError<CompositeSignal>>
pub fn send( &self, signal: CompositeSignal, ) -> Result<(), SendError<CompositeSignal>>
Sends a composite signal to the delivery layer.
Blocks if the channel is full (back-pressure).
Sourcepub fn try_send(
&self,
signal: CompositeSignal,
) -> Result<(), TrySendError<CompositeSignal>>
pub fn try_send( &self, signal: CompositeSignal, ) -> Result<(), TrySendError<CompositeSignal>>
Tries to send a signal without blocking.
Returns TrySendError::Full if the channel is at capacity.
