Transaction

Struct Transaction

Source
pub struct Transaction<'a> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A database transaction wrapper that automatically rolls back on drop unless explicitly committed.

This ensures that if a panic or early return occurs, the transaction is safely rolled back rather than leaving the connection in a dirty state.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a> Transaction<'a>

Source

pub fn begin(conn: &'a mut PgConnection) -> OrmResult<Self>

Begins a new transaction on the given connection.

Source

pub fn commit(self) -> OrmResult<()>

Commits the transaction. Must be called explicitly to persist changes.

Source

pub fn rollback(self) -> OrmResult<()>

Explicitly rolls back the transaction.
