Library

Struct Library

Source
pub struct Library<'g> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Handle of a loaded library, bound to the Scope<'g> it was loaded through — same model as AllocatedMemory<'g>.

Library<'g> cannot outlive the scope that created it: there is no way to construct one except via Scope::load, which requires a live Scope<'g> in the first place. This replaces the old __Library<const Allowed: bool> gate — the lifetime is the gate now.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'g> Library<'g>

Source

pub const fn id(&self) -> usize

Returns the library identifier.

Source

pub fn path(&self) -> &str

Returns the resolved path the library was loaded from.

Source§

impl<'g> Library<'g>

Source

pub fn call(&self, name: &str) -> CallBuilder<'_, 'g>

Starts a fluent call builder.

Source

pub fn unload(self) -> Result<(), FFIError>

Unloads the library and removes it from the registry;

Here self instead of &self is used so that after removal it is not possible to use the library further. The compiler sees this.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<'g> Drop for Library<'g>

Source§

fn drop(&mut self)

Manual or automatic deletion.

Source§

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)
Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more
