A message received from or sent to a chat platform.

Fields§

§id: String§sender: String§content: String§timestamp: i64§channel: Option<String>§reply_to: Option<String>

ID of the message this is replying to, if any.

§thread_id: Option<String>

Thread / conversation ID, when the platform distinguishes threads from the main channel timeline (e.g. Slack, Discord, Matrix).

§media: Option<Vec<MediaAttachment>>§is_direct: bool§message_type: MessageType

The kind of this message.

§edited_timestamp: Option<i64>

When the message was last edited (Unix timestamp), if applicable.

§reactions: Option<Vec<Reaction>>

Reactions attached to this message (populated when receiving messages on platforms that expose them; None means unknown / not fetched).
