#[repr(u8)]pub enum QuoteSelect {
Mid = 0,
Last = 1,
BidAsk = 2,
}Expand description
Which premium the IV inversion prices against (docs/01-domain-model.md §7).
Regardless of the choice, a crossed or absent quote yields no IV — a
crossed pair never produces a bogus number. Because the persisted
OptionData carries no last-traded price, QuoteSelect::Last resolves to
the current chain mid (the freshest premium the chain model holds); it stays
in the public surface so the projection layer (#25) can drive it once a
last-carrying view exists.
Variants§
Mid = 0
The stored mid of the two-sided, uncrossed quote (the default).
Last = 1
The last-traded premium; falls back to the chain mid (no last on the persisted model).
BidAsk = 2
The recomputed (bid + ask) / 2 of the two-sided, uncrossed quote.
