#[non_exhaustive]pub struct ClientAuthConfig {
pub cert_chain: PathBuf,
pub key: PathBuf,
}Expand description
TLS building blocks shared with other transport crates (e.g. the upstream
proxy engine) so every outbound ClientConfig goes through the same
provider selection and FIPS hardening.

Client-certificate (mutual TLS) identity.
Holds filesystem paths to PEM-encoded material rather than parsed key bytes
so that HttpClientConfig stays cheaply Clone/Debug and no private-key
bytes are held in the config. The files are read and parsed lazily in
HttpClientBuilder::build; IO or parse failures are reported as
crate::error::HttpError::Tls.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.cert_chain: PathBufPath to a PEM file containing the client certificate chain (leaf first, then intermediates).
key: PathBufPath to a PEM file containing the client private key (PKCS#8, PKCS#1/RSA, or SEC1/EC).
