ConfigurationSetting

Enum ConfigurationSetting

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum ConfigurationSetting { Dimension, Vertices, Timeslices, Temperature, Steps, ThermalizationSteps, MeasurementFrequency, MeasurementSchedule, Coupling0, Coupling2, CosmologicalConstant, VolumeProfile, }
Expand description

Identifies the top-level or simulation configuration setting that failed validation.

Use this with CdtError::InvalidConfiguration and CdtError::InvalidSimulationConfiguration to inspect invalid settings without parsing rendered error messages.

§Examples

use causal_triangulations::prelude::errors::{CdtError, ConfigurationSetting};
use causal_triangulations::prelude::CdtConfig;
use std::assert_matches;

let config = CdtConfig {
    vertices: 2,
    ..CdtConfig::new(36, 3)
};
assert_matches!(
    config.into_validated(),
    Err(CdtError::InvalidConfiguration {
        setting: ConfigurationSetting::Vertices,
        ..
    })
);

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
