Struct WalkComponent

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct WalkComponent<'p, 'd> { pub path: &'p Path, pub dir: &'d Dir, pub filename: &'p OsStr, pub file_type: FileType, pub entry: &'p DirEntry, }
Expand description

A directory entry encountered when using the walk function.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§path: &'p Path

The relative path to the entry. This will include the filename of [entry]. Note that this is purely informative; the filesystem traversal provides this path, but does not itself use it.

The WalkConfiguration::path_base function configures the base for this path.

§dir: &'d Dir

The parent directory.

§filename: &'p OsStr

The filename of the directory entry. Note that this will also be present in [path].

§file_type: FileType

The file type.

§entry: &'p DirEntry

The directory entry.
