Variants

Planned

A custody transfer the itinerary planned for.

Seizure

Custody taken by an entity outside the itinerary. Transport records the seizing identity; the incident, hostility, and authority behind it stay application systems. A seizure follows the same leg rules as a planned handoff: it is recorded after the source leg arrived or failed, into a startable leg (typically the first leg of a replacement revision), and to_custodian remains the application’s custody label.
