TransmissionType

Enum TransmissionType

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum TransmissionType { SynchronousAcyclic, SynchronousCyclic(u8), SynchronousRtrOnly, EventDrivenRtrOnly, EventDrivenManufacturer, EventDrivenProfile, }
Expand description

The transmission type of a PDO (CiA 301 §7.5.2.36), byte 2 of the communication parameter.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

SynchronousAcyclic

0: synchronous, acyclic — transmitted after the next SYNC when the mapped data has changed.

§

SynchronousCyclic(u8)

1..=240: synchronous, cyclic — transmitted every n-th SYNC.

§

SynchronousRtrOnly

252: synchronous, RTR-only.

§

EventDrivenRtrOnly

253: event-driven, RTR-only.

§

EventDrivenManufacturer

254: event-driven, manufacturer-specific event.

§

EventDrivenProfile

255: event-driven, device-profile / application event.

Implementations§

Source§

impl TransmissionType

Source

pub const fn from_byte(byte: u8) -> Result<Self>

Decode a transmission-type byte.

Returns Error::UnsupportedTransfer for the reserved range 241..=251.

Source

pub const fn to_byte(self) -> u8

The transmission-type byte for this variant.
