Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Value

Source

pub const fn data_type(&self) -> DataType

The data type of this value.

Source

pub const fn size(&self) -> usize

The encoded size of this value, in bytes.

Source

pub fn encode_le(&self, buf: &mut [u8]) -> Result<usize>

Encode this value little-endian into buf, returning the number of bytes written.

Returns Error::BadLength if buf is smaller than Value::size.

Source

pub fn decode_le(data_type: DataType, bytes: &[u8]) -> Result<Value>

Decode a little-endian value of data_type from bytes.

bytes must be exactly DataType::size long, else Error::BadLength.
