MemoryRegistryError

Errors returned when a memory range or ID registration is invalid.

Variants§

§

Overlap

A requested owner range overlaps an already reserved range.

Fields

§existing_crate: String

Crate that already owns the conflicting range.

§existing_start: u8

First ID in the existing range.

§existing_end: u8

Last ID in the existing range.

§new_crate: String

Crate requesting the new range.

§new_start: u8

First ID in the requested range.

§new_end: u8

Last ID in the requested range.

§

InvalidRange

The requested range has start > end.

Fields

§start: u8

First ID in the requested range.

§end: u8

Last ID in the requested range.

§

DuplicateId(u8)

The memory ID is already registered.

§

DuplicateStableKey(String)

The stable key is declared more than once in one runtime snapshot.

§

NoReservedRange

The crate attempted to register an ID before reserving any range.

Fields

§crate_name: String

Crate attempting to register the ID.

§id: u8

Stable-memory ID being registered.

§

IdOwnedByOther

The ID falls inside a range reserved by another crate.

Fields

§crate_name: String

Crate attempting to register the ID.

§id: u8

Stable-memory ID being registered.

§owner: String

Crate that owns the range containing id.

§owner_start: u8

First ID in the owning range.

§owner_end: u8

Last ID in the owning range.

§

IdOutOfRange

The crate has reserved ranges, but none contain the requested ID.

Fields

§crate_name: String

Crate attempting to register the ID.

§id: u8

Stable-memory ID being registered.

§

ReservedInternalId

The ID is the unallocated-bucket sentinel and is not usable.

Fields

§id: u8

Invalid sentinel stable-memory ID.

§

HistoricalRangeConflict

A requested range conflicts with a range recorded in the stable layout ledger.

Fields

§existing_crate: String

Crate that historically owns the conflicting range.

§existing_start: u8

First ID in the historical range.

§existing_end: u8

Last ID in the historical range.

§new_crate: String

Crate requesting the new range.

§new_start: u8

First ID in the requested range.

§new_end: u8

Last ID in the requested range.

§

HistoricalIdConflict

A requested ID conflicts with an ID recorded in the stable layout ledger.

Fields

§id: u8

Stable-memory ID being registered.

§existing_crate: String

Crate that historically registered the ID.

§existing_label: String

Historical label for the ID.

§new_crate: String

Crate requesting the ID now.

§new_label: String

Requested label for the ID now.

§new_stable_key: String

Requested stable key for the ID now.

§

HistoricalStableKeyConflict

A requested stable key conflicts with a different historical ID.

Fields

§stable_key: String

Stable key being registered.

§existing_id: u8

Historical ID for the stable key.

§new_id: u8

Requested ID for the stable key now.

§

InvalidStableKey

The stable key is not canonical.

Fields

§stable_key: String

Rejected stable key.

§reason: &'static str

Human-readable reason for the rejection.

§

InvalidSchemaMetadata

The schema metadata is not canonical.

Fields

§stable_key: String

Stable key whose schema metadata was rejected.

§reason: &'static str

Human-readable reason for the rejection.

§

RangeAuthorityViolation

The stable key namespace and memory ID range do not match.

Fields

§stable_key: String

Stable key being registered.

§id: u8

Stable-memory ID being registered.

§reason: &'static str

Human-readable reason for the rejection.

§

RegistrationAfterBootstrap

Registration was attempted after the bootstrap declaration snapshot was sealed.

Fields

§ranges: usize

Number of late range declarations.

§registrations: usize

Number of late memory ID declarations.

§

RegistryNotBootstrapped

A memory handle was requested before bootstrap validated the declaration snapshot.

§

LedgerCorrupt

The persisted ABI ledger cannot be validated.

Fields

§reason: &'static str

Human-readable corruption reason.
