Fallible predicate source: either a synchronous FilterPredicate or an asynchronous, fallible language predicate.

The sync arm always succeeds (Ok(bool)); the async arm may fail with a CamelError that callers must propagate instead of silently treating the exchange as skipped.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Sync(FilterPredicate)

Programmatic synchronous predicate.

Async(Arc<dyn Fn(&Exchange) -> BoxBoolFuture + Send + Sync>)

Language-backed asynchronous predicate.
