Expand description

Taxonomy for PDS interaction failures. Carries enough context for the CLI dispatcher to map to an exit code + human-readable message without leaking PDS internals.

Variants§

§

InvalidUrl

Url::parse failed on the configured PDS base.

Fields

§url: String

URL string that failed to parse.

§source: ParseError

Underlying parse error.

§

Network

Transport-level failure (DNS, TLS, connection, timeout).

Fields

§url: String

URL the request was sent to.

§source: Error

Underlying reqwest error.

§

Unauthorized

401 from any endpoint. context identifies the lexicon method (createSession / refreshSession / …) so the caller can distinguish “bad app password” from “refresh token expired” without parsing error strings.

Fields

§context: &'static str

Short lexicon method name that returned 401.

§error: String

error field from the XRPC response body.

§message: String

message field from the XRPC response body.

§

UnexpectedStatus

Any non-2xx, non-401 status.

Fields

§context: &'static str

Short lexicon method name that failed.

§status: u16

HTTP status code returned.

§error: String

error field from the XRPC response body.

§message: String

message field from the XRPC response body.

§

MalformedResponse

Response deserialization failed (PDS sent 2xx but the body didn’t match the expected shape).

Fields

§context: &'static str

Short lexicon method name whose response didn’t parse.

§source: Error

Underlying reqwest/serde error.

§

SwapRace

§F1 swap-race. Distinct from UnexpectedStatus so publish-service-record can exit with a specific message directing the operator to inspect + reconcile manually before re-running.

Fields

§message: String

Message body from the PDS’s InvalidSwap response.
