pub enum NamedEntryError {
ResourceRefusal(ResourceLimit),
FormattingRefusal,
Blank {
record: String,
},
Restated {
record: String,
key: NonBlankString,
},
}Expand description
A source property the reader could not key.
A blank key names nothing, so the entry it carries cannot be asked for. A restated key names an entry that is already keyed, so the second value has nowhere to go. Either way the value is still source content, so the reader states the property it could not key instead of dropping it without a word.
Variants§
ResourceRefusal(ResourceLimit)
The resource policy or allocator refused the operation.
FormattingRefusal
The owning record could not be formatted.
Blank
The key holds no non-whitespace character.
Restated
The record states this key a second time.
Fields
key: NonBlankStringThe key the record states twice.

Source§impl From<NamedEntryError> for CodecError
A source property whose key names nothing, or whose key the record already
states, is an inconsistency inside the bytes that are present, so a reader
that refuses the whole property set reports it as a malformed container.
