DatasetError

Struct DatasetError

Source
pub struct DatasetError(/* private fields */);
Expand description

Default error type used by Dataset implementations that don’t define their own.

Wraps specific dataset error types (e.g. SqliteDatasetError) at call sites that don’t need the concrete error type. Use result.map_err(DatasetError::new)? to convert and propagate an error; ? alone does not perform this wrapping.

Implementations§

impl DatasetError

Source

pub fn new<E>(err: E) -> Self
where E: Error + Send + Sync + 'static,

1.0.0 · Source§

fn description(&self) -> &str

use the Display impl or to_string()

1.0.0 · Source§

fn cause(&self) -> Option<&dyn Error>

👎Deprecated since 1.33.0:

replaced by Error::source, which can support downcasting
