pub struct ByeRequest {
pub reason: Option<String>,
}Expand description
BYE (0x001F) — end the session cleanly.
A goodbye is a CBOR map, not an empty payload. All three SDKs used to
send zero bytes here, which the server cannot decode as a ByeRequest; it
tolerates it today rather than rejecting, but the corpus req_bye vector
pins the correct form.
Fields§
§reason: Option<String>Serialized unconditionally, as null when absent — the server declares
this field with no serde attributes, and every other Option in this
SDK mirrors the server’s declaration exactly so the manifest comparison
stays free of exceptions. A reason-less goodbye is therefore
{"reason": null}, not an empty map; the server accepts either, since
serde visits none for a missing Option field.
