pub enum Level {
Error,
Warning,
Info,
}Expand description
How important a line looked.
Judged by convention rather than by parsing: there is no grammar for “a log line”, and every toolchain writes its own. The conventions matched below are the ones that are near-universal, and a line that matches none of them is simply informational — which is the safe default, since being wrong here costs priority rather than correctness.
Variants§
Implementations§
Source§impl Level
impl Level
Sourcepub fn of(line: &str) -> Self
pub fn of(line: &str) -> Self
Classify a line by the conventions toolchains actually use.
Case-insensitive, and anchored to word-ish positions so that a path
containing error — src/error.rs, which appears in almost every Rust
build log — is not mistaken for an error line.
Sourcepub fn is_notable(self) -> bool
pub fn is_notable(self) -> bool
Whether this level is worth keeping ahead of ordinary output.
