RunId

Struct RunId

Source
pub struct RunId(/* private fields */);
Expand description

Identifies one execution of a flow.

A ULID rather than a digest: two runs of the same flow are different events and must be distinguishable, and lexicographic order matches time order, which makes ledger scans cheap.

Implementations§

Source§

impl RunId

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Mint an id for a run starting now.

Source

pub const fn from_ulid(ulid: Ulid) -> Self

Wrap an existing ULID, for replaying or importing a recorded run.

Source

pub const fn ulid(&self) -> Ulid

The underlying ULID.
