}Expand description
The engine refused to produce evidence.
Note what is not here: a checker’s own inability to decide. That is
Verdict::Inconclusive, which is an answer. These are failures to reach
the point of having an answer at all.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Overreach
The checker declared authority a checker may not hold.
Refused before Checker::judge runs, so the offending checker never
executes with it.
UndecidableGrants
The checker’s declared authority could not be proved to be within the ceiling.
A refusal rather than a pass. Goal G5: what cannot be proved is not assumed, and a permission granted on a guess is the one failure this whole layer exists to prevent.
Address
The work order or condensate could not be canonically encoded, so the evidence cannot name what it covers.
Sign
The verdict could not be signed, so there is no evidence and nothing commits.
