Expand description

How long an adapter waits for borg’s answer at each event before it fails open (borg is killed and the harness carries on as if it said nothing), for a harness whose hooks are an adapter’s. borg’s answer carries them to an adapter that asks (with_budgets), so this table is their one definition: the adapter’s own copy is only its fallback until such an answer came (a test here keeps the two equal).

Fields§

§prompt: Duration

The engineer’s prompt: how long it waits for borg’s context.

§pre_tool: Duration

Before every tool call (only steering reads there: a stat when nobody steers).

§post_tool: Duration

After a tool call: how long its result waits for borg’s context.

§stop: Duration

The stop, the one hook that may call a model: also its Caps::stop_budget.

§end: Duration

The session’s end.
