The v2 MANIFEST — the first tar entry: the ordered member LIST plus bundle metadata. Unlike the v1 Manifest it carries NO per-member size/SHA (each member’s live in its MemberMeta sidecar), which is what makes a streaming export possible.

Fields

magic: String

Must equal BUNDLE_MAGIC.

format_version: u32

The bundle format version — BUNDLE_FORMAT_VERSION_V2.

created_at: u64

Unix seconds when the bundle was produced.

data_only: bool

Whether this is a --data-only bundle.

source: SourceInfo

What the bundle was exported from.

members: Vec<MemberSpec>

Every non-manifest member, in the order the reader must restore them.

delta: Option<DeltaInfo>

DELTA bundle metadata (the mode + base/parent reference). Absent ⇒ an ordinary FULL bundle (so a v2/v3 full manifest round-trips byte-identically — skip_serializing_if), present ⇒ the restore resolves the base chain and applies this bundle’s per-family deltas onto it.
