pub enum ReadinessLevel {
Provisioned,
ServiceReady,
}Expand description
Re-export: the readiness-gate value types live in boatramp-types (shared between the
manifest ApplyDatabase and this serving config), surfaced here for the
ExternalDatabaseConfig::readiness_gate field.
How “ready” a managed-DB replica must be before a surface treats it as usable — the
configurable readiness gate (v0.45.0). The strict default, [Provisioned], means the
replica has completed its post-launch provisioning (its CREATE DATABASE / role DDL).
Relaxed to [ServiceReady], a surface uses the replica as soon as it answers a real
SELECT 1, before provisioning has finished. Shared between the manifest
ApplyDatabase and the serving ExternalDatabaseConfig.
Variants§
Provisioned
Require full post-launch provisioning (the strict default).
ServiceReady
Require only that the service answers SELECT 1 (relaxed).
