Expand description

An observed replica (the persisted control-plane state at compute_state/<workload>/<replica>; also the gateway’s upstream source). Usually Running; a scale-to-zero replica persists in the Zero phase carrying its snapshot.

Fields§

§handle: InstanceHandle

The replica’s handle.

§node: u64

The node it runs on (for Zero, the node holding its snapshot — restore is same-node until live migration lands).

§backend: String

The backend that runs it.

§endpoint: Endpoint

The endpoint the gateway routes to (the last-known endpoint while Zero).

§region: Option<String>

The region of the node this replica runs on, denormalized from Node::region at launch so the gateway’s nearest-replica LB (FA-8) can tag the replica’s endpoint without a node lookup. #[serde(default)] keeps older records (no field) deserializing — schema stays v1.

§healthy: bool

Whether the last health check passed (always false while Zero).

§phase: ReplicaPhase

Lifecycle phase. #[serde(default)] keeps older records (no field) deserializing as Running — schema stays v1.

§snapshot: Option<Snapshot>

The snapshot to restore from — Some iff phase == Zero.
