#[non_exhaustive]pub enum AddressType {
Public,
Random,
}Expand description
Describes the meaning of the bytes in an Address.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Public
Address follows the MAC address standard.
The first 3 Bytes identify the vendor, the last 3 Bytes identify the device.
Random
Address is randomly generated.
These addresses can either be “Static Random” addresses, or they can be resolvable or non-resolvable “Private Random” addresses for use with BLE Privacy.
