Every way an argument to this layer can be refused.

Closed, and each arm reads differently, so a reader of the raised message is sent to the one thing that was wrong.

Variants§

§

NotHexText

A key or signature argument that is not a string at all.

Fields

§what: &'static str
§got: &'static str
§

NotHex

A character outside 0-9a-fA-F, at a character position.

Fields

§what: &'static str
§position: usize
§found: char
§

OddHex

An odd number of hex digits cannot be whole bytes.

Fields

§what: &'static str
§digits: usize
§

WrongLength

Well-formed hex of the wrong size.

Fields

§what: &'static str
§expected: usize
§got: usize
§

NotAMessage

Something that is neither text nor a byte list.

Fields

§got: &'static str
§

NotAByte

A byte-list element that is not an integer.

Fields

§index: usize
§got: &'static str
§

ByteOutOfRange

A byte-list element outside 0..=255.

Fields

§index: usize
§value: i64
§

NotACurvePoint

32 bytes that do not decompress to a point on the curve.

§

WeakPublicKey

A point of small order: every signature under it is meaningless.

§

NotAnAlgorithm

Fields

§got: &'static str
§

UnknownAlgorithm

Fields

§name: String
§known: &'static str
§

NoMac

Fields

§name: &'static str
§known: &'static str
