Expand description

What a node runs its processes under.

Fields§

§budget: Budget

Each child’s budget: fuel and depth bound an incarnation, the quantum is the slice.

§clock: ClockKind§max_tape: usize§trace_dir: Option<PathBuf>

Where crash traces are written, if anywhere.

§child: ChildFactory§frame: Option<Frame>

The hold every process runs under, when the host holds them to one.

§journal: usize

Messages of each kind a held process’s mailbox journal keeps; 0 keeps no journal.

§host_io: HostIo

The ledger the host’s counting shims tally into.

§identities: Identities

Each definition’s def_hash, for traces and receipts.

§places: Places

Each definition’s file, for the place a trace names.

§receipts: Option<ReceiptSink>

Where each held process’s receipt goes when an incarnation ends.

§state_root: Option<StateRoot>

How a server’s receipt names its state; without one, a server’s receipt carries no roots.

§meter: Option<Meter>

The allocator meter that holds each process to its live-byte bound; None holds no process to one.

§carrier: Option<Carrier>§dispatch_steps: Option<usize>§count_steps: bool§idle_lane: IdleLane

Implementations§

Source§

impl NodeConfig

Source

pub fn new(child: ChildFactory) -> Self

Unbounded fuel, the default depth, DEFAULT_QUANTUM, a virtual clock, the trace directory set_trace_dir named, the journal bound set_journal_bound named, no hold, no receipts and no meter.
