pub struct Code {
    pub defs: Vec<Spanned>,
    pub bindings: Vec<(Arc<str>, Value)>,
    pub start: Option<Spanned>,
}
Expand description

A process’s program: definitions, data bindings, and the form it starts at.

Kept as trees, not as a compiled chunk, because a restart, a migration and a crash trace all need the program again: the restart recompiles it, the migration extends it, and the trace writes it down so blue replay needs nothing but the trace.

Fields§

§defs: Vec<Spanned>

(define (name params…) body…) forms, one per function reached.

§bindings: Vec<(Arc<str>, Value)>

Globals the child starts with: copied arguments and captured data.

§start: Option<Spanned>

The form the process evaluates; its value is the process’s result.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Code

Source

pub fn program(&self) -> Vec<Spanned>

Every form the VM compiles, in order.

Source

pub fn bind(&mut self, name: &str, value: Value)

Set a binding, replacing an earlier one of the same name.
