pub enum ChromaSubsampling {
Cs420,
Cs444,
}Expand description
Chroma subsampling mode.
- Cs420 (default): 4:2:0 — U/V at half horizontal and half vertical resolution. Universally supported, lower bandwidth.
- Cs444: 4:4:4 — full-resolution chroma. Eliminates colour fringing on sharp edges (ideal for text / UI), but requires encoder support.
Set via BLIT_CHROMA env var. Default: 444 (fall back to 420 if unsupported).
Use BLIT_CHROMA=420 to force 4:2:0.
