Expand description

Pixel data in its native format, avoiding unnecessary colorspace conversions.

Variants§

§

Bgra(Arc<Vec<u8>>)

§

Rgba(Arc<Vec<u8>>)

§

Nv12

Fields

§data: Arc<Vec<u8>>
§y_stride: usize
§uv_stride: usize
§

DmaBuf

Fields

§fourcc: u32
§modifier: u64
§stride: u32
§offset: u32
§y_invert: bool

When true the image origin is bottom-left (OpenGL convention). The Vulkan renderer flips the V texture coordinate to display the image right-side-up.

§

Nv12DmaBuf

NV12 in a single DMA-BUF (Y at offset 0, UV at uv_offset) — zero-copy from Vulkan compute shader to VA-API encoder.

Fields

§stride: u32
§uv_offset: u32
§width: u32
§height: u32
§sync_fd: Option<Arc<OwnedFd>>

Optional sync_fd exported from the Vulkan fence that guards the BGRA→NV12 compute dispatch. The consumer (encoder) must poll() this fd before reading the NV12 data. None when implicit DMA-BUF fencing handles synchronisation (linear buffers).

§

VaSurface

VA-API surface ready for VPP/encode — zero-copy path.

Fields

§surface_id: u32
§va_display: usize
§

Encoded

Pre-encoded bitstream from Vulkan Video encoder. The compositor did render → NV12 compute → video encode in one shot.

Fields

§data: Arc<Vec<u8>>
§is_keyframe: bool
§codec_flag: u8

Codec flag matching SURFACE_FRAME_CODEC_* constants.
