Expand description
Core numerics for the bixverse crates: sparse structures, linear algebra, correlations, statistics, SIMD helpers, clustering and Gaussian processes. Everything else in the workspace builds on this crate.
§Feature flags
accelerate— Routes dense CPU GEMMs through Apple Accelerate on macOS (no effect elsewhere). Decompositions (SVD, eigen) stay on faer, which is faster there.
Modules§
- core
- Various core functions that include mathematical functions used across different methods in this crate, think correlation, distance metrics, linear algebra). Additionally, also has synthetic data for assumption testing on bulk data.
- errors
- Errors raised by
bixverse-core. - ml
- Various machine learning implementations that can be useful for bioinformatics, such as clustering methods, etc.
- prelude
- Various functions, structures, etc. to expose more broadly when using this crate in other libraries
- utils
- All type of utility modules with shared code that does not fit fully into other modules. Has assertion macros, structures designed for the heap, traits and their implementations, R <> Rust interface functions and more.
Macros§
- assert_
nrows - Assertion that two matrices have the same number of rows.
- assert_
same_ dims - Assertion that two matrices have the same dimensions (rows and columns).
- assert_
same_ len - Assertion that all vectors have the same length.
- assert_
symmetric_ mat - Assertion that a matrix is symmetric.
Constants§
- VERSION
- Version of this crate.
