pub struct RandomInterceptParams {
pub lambda_max: f64,
pub lambda_tol: f64,
pub satterthwaite: bool,
}Expand description
Tuning knobs for fit_random_intercept.
Fields§
§lambda_max: f64Upper end of the bracket searched for the variance ratio.
lambda_tol: f64Convergence tolerance for the variance ratio.
satterthwaite: boolCompute Satterthwaite degrees of freedom. Turning this off leaves df
at the residual value n - p and skips a numerical Hessian and one
gradient per coefficient, which is worth doing when fitting at scale and
the group count is large enough that the two agree anyway. An exhausted
bracket still yields NaN regardless of this flag.
