What a solver may spend on one question. Solvers treat it as a hint; the engine enforces its own budget on calls.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

steps: u64

A work bound in the solver’s own units.

evidence: bool

Whether answers should carry the solver’s own evidence (default true). A caller that proves every answer itself asks without, and a solver may then skip checking an answer it built exactly (answering Claim::Unverified); the engine does so when backend certificates are not trusted.
