pub enum SurfaceSource {
DmaBuf(DmaBufHandle),
}Expand description
A source of a surface’s content: pixels GPUI did not draw, arriving on the renderer’s own device or from another one.
The variant is a cfg-gated payload, exactly as the field it replaces was, so the engine names only the transport it is compiled against and stays free of every graphics API but that one. A same-device texture and a cross-process handle are the same value here: both reach the renderer as a view it samples, and the renderer cannot tell how the view was made.
Variants§
DmaBuf(DmaBufHandle)
A dma-buf: an fd plus a DRM fourcc, modifier, stride and offset.
