Expand description

A device record in the Python HWI enumeration response.

Optional fields are omitted when absent, except label: its outer None omits the key and Some(None) writes JSON null. Enumeration includes the label key for Coldcard, KeepKey, Ledger, and Trezor; other families and candidates that could not be opened omit it. Unreported PIN and passphrase requirements are represented as false.

Fields§

§device_type: String

The device-family name, serialized under the JSON key type.

§model: String

The HWI-compatible model name, including emulator model names.

§path: String

The HWI-compatible native transport path.

§label: Option<Option<String>>

The optional label, with an outer option controlling key omission.

§fingerprint: Option<Fingerprint>

The master fingerprint as a hexadecimal string, omitted when unavailable.

§needs_pin_sent: bool

Whether the device reports that host PIN positions are required.

§needs_passphrase_sent: bool

The reported host-passphrase requirement, cleared after retrieving the fingerprint.

§warnings: Vec<Vec<String>>

Warning groups, omitted from JSON when empty.

§error: Option<String>

A per-device error message, omitted when no error occurred.

§code: Option<i32>

The per-device HWI error code, omitted when no error occurred.
