Lowercase

Trait Lowercase

Source
pub trait Lowercase {
    // Required method
    fn lower(&mut self, piece: &[char], out: &mut Vec<char>);
}
Expand description

Python’s str.lower() for strings with at least one non-ASCII character.

Python lowercases every character on its own, except that Σ becomes ς at the end of a word, and its tables follow the Unicode version of the interpreter.

Required Methods§

Source

fn lower(&mut self, piece: &[char], out: &mut Vec<char>)

Appends the lowercase form of piece to out.

Dyn Compatibility§

This trait is dyn compatible.

In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
