- Commands on a page session (
/devtools/page/<id>) route to that page. - Commands on the browser session route pool-level (Target.*) or fail per-target lookups with the browser pseudo-target.
- Commands carrying a
sessionId(flattened mode, what Playwright uses) route to the targetTarget.attachToTargetbound that session to.
