Result of a turn-boundary disk refresh: how many injected messages were merged, which newly appended messages have a durable transcript checkpoint, and the live per-session permission mode as it stands on disk (the authoritative writer is PATCH /sessions).

Fields

merged: usize

committed_messages: Vec<Message>

Newly appended messages whose transcript checkpoint completed at this boundary. Callers may publish these only after this function returns; recovery of an already-committed message is intentionally excluded.

admission_error: Option<String>

An unresolved ACK stops this activation even if its transcript and permanent receipt are already durable. Neither is proof that ACK returned successfully; the next safe boundary can retry existing recovery.

disk_permission_mode: Option<SessionPermissionMode>

None when there was no storage / no on-disk session to read.
