pub struct SampledFlight {
pub samples: Vec<TrajectorySample>,
pub reach_m: f64,
}Expand description
A solved flight: the sampled grid, plus how far the bullet ACTUALLY got (MBA-1476).
reach_m is the solved trajectory’s own terminal downrange distance — where it hit the
ground, ran out of flight time, or was stopped by the caller’s max_range — not the last
point on the sampling grid. The two differ by up to one grid cell, and only reach_m is
independent of the grid the caller chose: it is the figure a card quotes when it has to
tell a shooter the bullet does not get out to the row they asked for. Quoting the last
SAMPLE there instead made that number a function of the request (--end sets the sampled
span), so the same load’s “reaches only …” figure moved when nothing about the load had.
