pub struct NotificationClass {
pub notification_class: u32,
pub priority: [u8; 3],
pub ack_required: EventTransitionBits,
/* private fields */
}Expand description
BACnet NotificationClass object.
Stores notification routing configuration: which priorities, acknowledgement requirements, and recipient destinations apply to event notifications referencing this class number.
Fields§
§notification_class: u32The notification class number.
priority: [u8; 3]Priority: [TO_OFFNORMAL, TO_FAULT, TO_NORMAL]. Default [255, 255, 255].
ack_required: EventTransitionBitsTransitions whose notifications require acknowledgment. Default empty.
Implementations§
Source§impl NotificationClass
impl NotificationClass
Sourcepub fn with_persistence(
instance: u32,
name: impl Into<String>,
persistence: Arc<dyn NotificationClassPersistence>,
) -> Result<Self, Error>
pub fn with_persistence( instance: u32, name: impl Into<String>, persistence: Arc<dyn NotificationClassPersistence>, ) -> Result<Self, Error>
A Notification Class that keeps a written Recipient_List in
persistence, starting from the list saved there for this object, if
any. Its Notification_Class number defaults to the instance number,
as with new.
Fails when the saved list cannot be loaded, or holds what a write
would refuse: more than MAX_RECIPIENT_LIST_DESTINATIONS
destinations, or an address recipient whose MAC is too long.
Sourcepub fn recipient_list_saved(&self) -> bool
pub fn recipient_list_saved(&self) -> bool
Whether storage holds a Recipient_List a write set, now or before a
restart. add_destination then leaves the
list alone. Always false without persistence.
Sourcepub fn wait_for_saves(&self)
pub fn wait_for_saves(&self)
Block until the saves queued so far have run. Dropping the class waits for them too.
Source§impl NotificationClass
impl NotificationClass
Sourcepub fn new(instance: u32, name: impl Into<String>) -> Result<Self, Error>
pub fn new(instance: u32, name: impl Into<String>) -> Result<Self, Error>
Create a new NotificationClass object. Its Recipient_List is kept in
memory only; see with_persistence.
The notification_class number defaults to the instance number.
Sourcepub fn set_description(&mut self, desc: impl Into<String>)
pub fn set_description(&mut self, desc: impl Into<String>)
Set the description string.
Sourcepub fn add_destination(&mut self, dest: BACnetDestination) -> Result<(), Error>
pub fn add_destination(&mut self, dest: BACnetDestination) -> Result<(), Error>
Add a destination to the recipient list.
Refuses, as a network write would, an address recipient whose MAC is
longer than BACnetAddress::MAX_MAC_LEN octets (PROPERTY /
INVALID_DATA_TYPE, #1124) and a destination past the
MAX_RECIPIENT_LIST_DESTINATIONS cap (RESOURCES /
NO_SPACE_TO_WRITE_PROPERTY).
This configures the list the application starts with; it is not
saved. On a class with_persistence whose
storage holds a written Recipient_List
(recipient_list_saved), the saved list
wins: the destination is checked but not added.
Sourcepub fn recipient_list(&self) -> &[BACnetDestination]
pub fn recipient_list(&self) -> &[BACnetDestination]
The Recipient_List destinations, in list order.
