MultiStateInputObject

Struct MultiStateInputObject

Source
pub struct MultiStateInputObject { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

BACnet Multi-State Input object.

Read-only multi-state point. Present_Value is writable only when out-of-service. Present_Value is Unsigned, range 1..=number_of_states.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MultiStateInputObject

Source

pub fn new( instance: u32, name: impl Into<String>, number_of_states: u32, ) -> Result<Self, Error>

Create a new Multi-state Input object; number_of_states must be at least 1.

Source

pub fn set_alarm_values(&mut self, values: Vec<u32>)

Set the alarm values (states that trigger OFFNORMAL).

Unlike a network write, which refuses a state past Number_Of_States (#1429), this takes any state.

Source

pub fn with_tags_persistence( instance: u32, name: impl Into<String>, number_of_states: u32, persistence: Arc<dyn TagsPersistence>, ) -> Result<Self, Error>

Build with application-owned Tags storage. Saved Tags override configured Tags only while Self::set_profile provisions the row. Loaded data must satisfy the shared Tags rules and opt-in 1 MiB snapshot limit.

Source

pub fn set_profile(&mut self, profile: ObjectProfile) -> Result<(), Error>

Provision independent optional Tags, Profile_Location and Profile_Name rows before registration. Tags is writable in either Out_Of_Service state; the text rows are network read-only. Invalid configuration leaves the previous profile and its attached storage unchanged.

Source

pub fn wait_for_tag_saves(&self)

Wait for queued save attempts to finish; writes report their own outcomes. This is not a success receipt. Unstaged synchronous writes block their caller.

Source

pub fn set_present_value(&mut self, value: u32)

Mutate Present_Value on an unattached or otherwise application-owned object.

This low-level helper bypasses running-server Out_Of_Service ownership, range validation, intrinsic-event processing, and COV processing, while retaining this object’s reliability recomputation. Applications updating a live object should use BACnetServer::set_present_value_local.

Source

pub fn set_number_of_states( &mut self, number_of_states: u32, ) -> Result<(), Error>

Change the locally configured number of states.

The BACnet Number_Of_States property remains read-only. A successful local change retains the State_Text prefix, truncates its tail on shrink, appends constructor-style labels on growth, and immediately re-evaluates Reliability without repairing Present_Value.

Source

pub fn set_description(&mut self, desc: impl Into<String>)

Set the description string.

Source§

fn take_owed_schedule_writes(&mut self) -> Vec<ScheduleWrite>

Take the writes this schedule owes its targets apart from its calculation, each once, in order: a NULL to every priority slot a change of List_Of_Object_Property_References or Priority_For_Writing left behind (#1088), then the Present_Value owed out of service, for a client’s write (Clause 12.24.14) or a change of those two properties. Read more
Source§

fn complete_schedule_write( &mut self, _write: &ScheduleWrite, _outcomes: &[ScheduleTargetOutcome], ) -> bool

Report how each target took write, one of this schedule’s writes: outcomes holds one entry per member of write.references, in order. Read more
Source§

fn retry_refusals_naming( &self, _target: ObjectIdentifier, ) -> Option<ScheduleWrite>

The retry of the current value to the references whose last write was refused and that name target, an object just added to the database (#1440), so the refusal can clear without waiting for the next pass. None when no such refusal stands, or when the pass itself would retry nothing: out of service, outside Effective_Period, or with a NULL Present_Value. Only meaningful for Schedule objects; default returns None.
