#[non_exhaustive]pub enum RejectEffect {
Applied,
SameState,
HeldDown,
Kept,
NotNextHop,
}Expand description
What Table::apply_reject did.
It is #[non_exhaustive], so a new effect isn’t a breaking change: a
match needs a wildcard arm.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Applied
It changed a learned route’s state.
SameState
Nothing to change: no route, a direct one, or the state already in effect.
HeldDown
It would change the route, but came within the hold-down of the last change from the same arrival port.
Kept
For a learned route, with a reason other than 1 or 2, which changes no route (Clause 6.6.3.5).
NotNextHop
For a learned route through another router than the reject’s
sender, under the router’s next-hop policy (#1698): the router
didn’t apply it. Table::apply_reject itself never returns this.
