What a delivery says about one request.

Variants

Delivered

The notification was handed to the provider (sent, queued by it, or recorded). The request is done and will not be offered again.

Retry(String)

The provider could not take it now (a timeout, a 5xx, a rate limit): offer it again later. The text is the reason, kept for the log and for the dead letter when the retries run out.

Reject(String)

The request can never be delivered however often it is offered (an unknown template, an address no provider will accept). It is dead-lettered at once with this reason.
