State dictionary for storing model parameters.

This is similar to PyTorch’s state_dict, mapping parameter names to tensors.

Create a state dictionary from a module.

Uses named_parameters() to get fully-qualified parameter names (e.g., “encoder_lstm1.weight_ih”) that are unique across sub-modules. Falls back to parameters() if named_parameters() returns empty.
