pub struct Tread { /* private fields */ }Expand description
One tread: an upward-facing horizontal face of a flight.
front and back are the positions along the flight’s walking line
where the line climbs onto the tread and leaves it; the front edge is
the nosing. A service may add the nosing edge itself, the tread’s extent
across the walking line and whether the riser below it is closed.
Implementations§
Source§impl Tread
impl Tread
Sourcepub fn try_new(
elevation: ElevationInterval,
front: ElevationInterval,
back: ElevationInterval,
) -> Result<Self, WalkingSurfaceError>
pub fn try_new( elevation: ElevationInterval, front: ElevationInterval, back: ElevationInterval, ) -> Result<Self, WalkingSurfaceError>
A tread at elevation spanning front to back along the walking
line.
Sourcepub fn with_sides(
self,
left: ElevationInterval,
right: ElevationInterval,
) -> Result<Self, WalkingSurfaceError>
pub fn with_sides( self, left: ElevationInterval, right: ElevationInterval, ) -> Result<Self, WalkingSurfaceError>
The tread with the positions of its sides along across its
walking direction: the flight’s for a straight flight, the direction
square to its nosing for a turning flight’s tread. A service states
them only where the tread fills the rectangle between its front,
back and sides, so the width holds all along its depth; a winder has
none.
Sourcepub fn with_nosing(self, nosing: PlanSegment) -> Self
pub fn with_nosing(self, nosing: PlanSegment) -> Self
The tread with its nosing edge in plan.
Sourcepub fn with_riser_below(self, riser: RiserClosure) -> Self
pub fn with_riser_below(self, riser: RiserClosure) -> Self
The tread with whether the riser below it closes the step.
Sourcepub fn sides(&self) -> Option<(ElevationInterval, ElevationInterval)>
pub fn sides(&self) -> Option<(ElevationInterval, ElevationInterval)>
The positions of the tread’s sides across its walking direction, when measured.
Sourcepub fn width(&self) -> Option<MeasuredInterval>
pub fn width(&self) -> Option<MeasuredInterval>
The tread’s width across its walking direction, when its sides were measured. Nothing is deducted for handrails.
Sourcepub fn elevation(&self) -> ElevationInterval
pub fn elevation(&self) -> ElevationInterval
Elevation of the tread’s surface.
Sourcepub fn front(&self) -> ElevationInterval
pub fn front(&self) -> ElevationInterval
Position of the front edge (the nosing) along the walking line.
Sourcepub fn back(&self) -> ElevationInterval
pub fn back(&self) -> ElevationInterval
Position of the back edge along the walking line.
Sourcepub fn nosing(&self) -> Option<PlanSegment>
pub fn nosing(&self) -> Option<PlanSegment>
The nosing edge in plan, when measured.
Sourcepub fn riser_below(&self) -> RiserClosure
pub fn riser_below(&self) -> RiserClosure
Whether the riser below the tread closes the step.
Sourcepub fn depth(&self) -> MeasuredInterval
pub fn depth(&self) -> MeasuredInterval
The tread’s depth along the walking line, back less front.
