#[non_exhaustive]pub enum ProfileDeviation {
Bounded(Scalar),
Unbounded(&'static str),
}Expand description
How far a profile’s exact boundary may lie from the rings
profile_rings flattens it to (#232).
Bounded(d): every point of the exact boundary is within d of an edge
of the rings, so every point of the exact region is within d of the
rings’ region too (a point between an arc and its chord is in the
convex hull of the two, hence within the arc’s distance of the chord).
Unbounded names the part that has no certified bound.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Bounded(Scalar)
A certified upper bound, in the profile’s own units.
Unbounded(&'static str)
No certified bound; the reason names the family.
