Variants§
Aes256Gcm
AES-256 in GCM mode (NIST SP 800-38D). Hardware-accelerated on most modern CPUs.
ChaCha20Poly1305
ChaCha20 with Poly1305 (RFC 8439). Constant-time without dedicated hardware; preferred on platforms lacking AES-NI.
