Expand description

Copied machine state at an early exception boundary.

Fields§

§registers: GeneralRegisters

Architecture-native saved integer registers.

§pc: usize

Saved exception return address.

§sp: usize

Interrupted stack pointer.

§status: u64

Saved PSTATE, SSTATUS, PRMD or RFLAGS.

§syndrome: u64

ESR, SCAUSE, ESTAT or x86 error code captured by the owning vector.

§fault_address: VirtAddr

FAR, STVAL, BADV or CR2 captured by the owning vector.

§vector: u8
Available on x86-64 only.

x86 exception vector; syndrome contains its hardware error code.
