Struct aws_sdk_waf::client::fluent_builders::UpdateRuleGroup
source · [−]pub struct UpdateRuleGroup { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to UpdateRuleGroup.
This is AWS WAF Classic documentation. For more information, see AWS WAF Classic in the developer guide.
For the latest version of AWS WAF, use the AWS WAFV2 API and see the AWS WAF Developer Guide. With the latest version, AWS WAF has a single set of endpoints for regional and global use.
Inserts or deletes ActivatedRule objects in a RuleGroup.
You can only insert REGULAR rules into a rule group.
You can have a maximum of ten rules per rule group.
To create and configure a RuleGroup, perform the following steps:
-
Create and update the
Rulesthat you want to include in theRuleGroup. SeeCreateRule. -
Use
GetChangeTokento get the change token that you provide in theChangeTokenparameter of anUpdateRuleGrouprequest. -
Submit an
UpdateRuleGrouprequest to addRulesto theRuleGroup. -
Create and update a
WebACLthat contains theRuleGroup. SeeCreateWebACL.
If you want to replace one Rule with another, you delete the existing one and add the new one.
For more information about how to use the AWS WAF API to allow or block HTTP requests, see the AWS WAF Developer Guide.
Implementations
sourceimpl UpdateRuleGroup
impl UpdateRuleGroup
sourcepub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<UpdateRuleGroupOutput, SdkError<UpdateRuleGroupError>>
pub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<UpdateRuleGroupOutput, SdkError<UpdateRuleGroupError>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
sourcepub fn rule_group_id(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn rule_group_id(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The RuleGroupId of the RuleGroup that you want to update. RuleGroupId is returned by CreateRuleGroup and by ListRuleGroups.
sourcepub fn set_rule_group_id(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_rule_group_id(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The RuleGroupId of the RuleGroup that you want to update. RuleGroupId is returned by CreateRuleGroup and by ListRuleGroups.
sourcepub fn updates(self, input: RuleGroupUpdate) -> Self
pub fn updates(self, input: RuleGroupUpdate) -> Self
Appends an item to Updates.
To override the contents of this collection use set_updates.
An array of RuleGroupUpdate objects that you want to insert into or delete from a RuleGroup.
You can only insert REGULAR rules into a rule group.
ActivatedRule|OverrideAction applies only when updating or adding a RuleGroup to a WebACL. In this case you do not use ActivatedRule|Action. For all other update requests, ActivatedRule|Action is used instead of ActivatedRule|OverrideAction.
sourcepub fn set_updates(self, input: Option<Vec<RuleGroupUpdate>>) -> Self
pub fn set_updates(self, input: Option<Vec<RuleGroupUpdate>>) -> Self
For all other update requests, ActivatedRule|Action is used instead of ActivatedRule|OverrideAction.
sourcepub fn change_token(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn change_token(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The value returned by the most recent call to GetChangeToken.
sourcepub fn set_change_token(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_change_token(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The value returned by the most recent call to GetChangeToken.
